Drive ‘lifting learning’ school wide
Implement a Structured Literacy Approach
Wrap around support for DC ie MP to model, observe, give feedback, TA’s; weekly release with targeted programme objectives 
MP to withdraw target students for small group work intervention using SL approach on her Friday release days.
Measure success by tracking and using iDeaL assessments
Kaiako will have in depth knowledge of SL and continue to develop their knowledge of SL
Foster a sense of pride of who we are as individuals and a school community

Marae visits for all staff and students.
Expand on Te Reo Māori ā waha fluency and increase on Te Reo Māori delivery.

Provide our tamariki with a range of experiences and learning opportunities that are fun, local and relevant.

-We plan to provide a range of ways for our tamriki to learn- trips, hands on, through visitors sharing knowledge, kanohi ki te kanohi, exploration etc


-We budget to offer these experiences.


-Communicate with our community to find people to come in and inspire and teach.

 - `Tamariki are involved in karakia, mihimihi, hui, using the maramataka, kapa haka on regular basis.

Te Reo vocab given for topics.

-Tamariki are not just hearing te reo, but speaking it too.


-Te reo is used in written documents so it is seen.


-PLD is provided in te reo.


-Te Reo is explicitly taught and timetabled.
